Members of the 10th SFG secured from training OPS to conduct a rescue of a jumper wounded by enemy fire.
Seven soldiers participated in a high-altitude jump excercise
over BlueFOR main base. One jumpers life was lost in what the
DOG (Dept. Of Game) is only calling an equipment malfunction.
Another jumper, wounded with an apparent gun-shot wound was
rescued from what one local dubbed a meley of gunfire that
erupted  in the area between SLA and US forces. Although the
10th SFG is rumored to be in the theater, the DOG remains
purse-lipped regarding the entire event.
